Beyond a single physics milestone
A successful plasma experiment is essential, but commercial readiness depends on many systems advancing together. Materials, tritium handling, maintenance, thermal conversion, and supply chains all shape the practical outcome.
Treating one breakthrough as a proxy for the whole system can hide the work between scientific feasibility and dependable operation.
